" I have had Thomas Del Greco perform two home inspections for me. The first, in the summer of 2002, was on a home in Woodbridge, which looked like it was in great shape. Thomas happened to notice some cracked tile on the bathroom floor, which led him back to the basement, where he discovered sewage leaking from the bathroom. Apparently the homeowner had installed the plumbing himself - and not very well. The floorboards and crossbeams were rotted. We got an estimate to correct the problem and fix the damage - $20,000. Luckily, our lawyer was able to get us out of the contract. The second time we used Dr. Tom, LLC. was in the summer of 2003 - on the home that we now own. Thomas again detected several things that needed to be fixed - including faulty wiring and an asbestos pipe in the basement. We were able to use the information he gave us to negotiate with the sellers. They ended up having more than $2000 worth of work done before we bought the house. To put it plainly, the money we spent with Dr. Tom, LLC. has saved us many thousands of dollars, given us ammunition for negotiation, and saved us from buying a money pit!
